Loss of grandparent

A grandparent is one of your earliest caretakers, and this type of loss can be painful. Most people grieve a grandparent at some point, making this an opportunity to connect with others while practicing remembrance.

Remembering a grandparent who died

The loss of a grandparent is never easy, but we can practice remembrance to keep their legacies behind. Whether you talk to your loved ones about their favorite memories of your grandparents or you do something special in their honor, these are the small acts of remembrance that keep someone's memory alive. Ultimately, there is no set timeline for loss. It's okay to feel whatever it is you're feeling, and it's okay to seek support.
