Organ donation

Organ donation is when someone grants authorization to remove and transplant their organs upon their death. Healthy organs and tissues are taken from one person and transplanted into a living patient, aiding in someone's quality of life. Consent is given either while the donor is alive or upon their death with next of kin approval.
