Who We Are
You should work with us if you're interested in solving a *big* problem and creating an entirely new category.
We are a venture-backed, early-stage technology company founded by an MIT-trained engineer and Harvard-trained doctor to leverage technology, data, and human-centered design to make it easier to plan for end-of-life. We are already working with some of the biggest players in healthcare and insurance, including Blue Cross Blue Shield of MA, Harvard Pilgrim, and Massachusetts General Hospital.
Cake is one of Boston's Tech Startups to Watch in 2017, has been selected for TEDMED and PULSE@, is the winner of Project Entrepreneur, and is featured in: NY Times, Tech Insider, Huffington Post, The Guardian.
We're expanding our team, and are looking for the right person to take control of frontend development of our web application.
It's a small team, so the right candidate will be very self-motivated, and good at collaborating with others.
Looking for an intern who is passionate about helping people think through end-of-life planning, and building a new technology
product that makes it easier for people to plan and get inspired. We have several potential roles and responsibilities available;
we are more interested in finding the right person. Must be a good communicator, proactive, and intellectually curious.
We are looking for the right person to take the on lead Business Development for our platform, which includes a clinician-facing
and a consumer-facing interface. This person should have a strong understanding of the US healthcare system and feel connected to
our mission to make advance care and end-of-life planning easier. As we are an early stage company, flexibility and creativity are a must.
